Tour the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's Headquarters
Join the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) for an exclusive site tour of their Golden, Colorado facility and wind testing facility. There are two tour opportunities on April 18 - space is limited for these tours, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Experience firsthand what goes behind achieving NREL’s mission focus of energy productivity, renewable electricity, systems integration, and sustainable transportation.
On the tours:
- Energy Systems Integration Facility
- Hydrogen vehicle testing
- Thermal testing facility
- Advanced System Modeling Visualizations
- Appliance and building load testing facility for energy efficiency
There is only room for 50 people on each tour, so space is extremely limited. Please note, registration for the site tour closes on March 30.
Please note, upon arrival, U.S. citizens must present a U.S. government-issued ID.

Closed-toed shoes and long pants are required. Safety glasses will be provide on-site and must be worn at all times.
