As president and a 23-year veteran of Dynapower, Adam has led the Vermont-based power conversion developer and manufacturer through several stages of growth and product line development including the establishment of the company’s Energy Storage Group in 2007. Since then Dynapower ESG has worked alongside utilities, government agencies, universities, developers and battery suppliers to deploy over 250 MWs of energy storage inverters worldwide. Notable Dynapower energy storage projects include America’s largest wind energy storage project in Notrees, Texas developed with Duke Energy, and the Stafford Hill Solar Farm developed alongside Green Mountain Power. Strafford Hill was recently recognized in the 2016 Grid Edge Awards from Green Tech Media for innovation and leadership in energy storage. Working with ESG sales leader, Chip Palombini, and his team, Adam has overseen the development of utility scale installation partnerships with battery manufacturers and the commercializatin of Dynapower’s GEN 3 family of energy storage inverters. In addition to offering custom inverter development and manufacturing from its 150,000 sq. ft. vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Vermont, Dynapower is the only PCS manufacturer to offer a full line of commercial energy storage inverters from 100 kW to 2200 kW for utility-scale, C & I, and solar plus storage applications. Prior to becoming president, in his role as COO, Adam, led the first large market introduction of “Chopper” technology (high frequency converter AC to DC megawatt systems) in the mining and electrochemical industries.
